A molding frame set in from the edge. Our standard is a 1/4 in thick square profile in birch.

Backdrops come raw and ready for your own paint, wrap or decor. We don't offer painting at this time.
Built-in fold-out legsStandard
Swivel legs on the back fold flat against the panel for transport and swing out to hold the backdrop up. No separate stand needed.

About these backdrops
Every backdrop is cut to order in our Plainfield, IL shop on a CNC router, so the shape, size and face you pick here is exactly what gets built. Plain and trimmed panels are 1/2 in birch plywood. Ripple faces are carved into 3/4 in ultralight MDF, and the grooves catch light from the side for a soft, layered look in photos.
They work as a photo backdrop at weddings, showers, graduations and proms, behind a dessert or gift table, as a stage or DJ booth backer, or as a display wall for pop-up shops and vendor booths. Built-in legs fold out from the back, so each panel stands on its own and packs flat after the event. Because of their size, backdrops are local pickup only. We do not ship them.

Why doesn't a narrower backdrop cost less?
Every backdrop is cut from a full 4 ft wide sheet. A 3 ft panel uses the same sheet, the same cutting and the same build time as a 4 ft panel, and the leftover strip is too narrow to reuse. So we price by height and let you pick any width up to 4 ft at no extra charge.
